Conexión Latina

CONEXION LATINA (Central/South America/Local)is a Latin dance music group consisting of an exciting blending of Salsa, Cumbia and Bachata. Established in Waterloo as a motivated collection of Latinos in the region. The group began to take form in 2020 by working on its musical concept and rehearsing in the municipal park in Waterloo. After building a repertoire of Cuban songs, Colombian Cumbias, and Dominican Bachata, Conexión Latina has established itself as a band with an authentic sound culminating in a show where the audience is up dancing, and the environment is all about having fun. The players are Manuel (Venezuelan) lead vocalist, Jonah(Nicaraguan) piano, Alberto (Cuban) violin, Gabriel (Salvadoran) bass guitar, Fernando (Colombian) bongos & accordion, John (Colombian) congas, and Andres (Colombian) minor percussion. The fusion of their diverse cultures gives Conexión Latina an eclectic flavour you won't find anywhere else.
