Welcome spring with the playful art of pysanky -- a wax-resist method of decorating eggs by layering beeswax and dyes. Learn about this intricate tradition, as you transform a simple egg into your own creation, and find out -- can pysanky really ward off evil spirits? Suitable to all skill levels. All materials will be provided.

Kathak, derived from the Sanskrit word "Katha," meaning "story," is an Indian classical dance style from North India. Kathak is known for its intricate footwork, spins, rhythmic patterns, and expressive storytelling. The workshop will cover the foundational elements of Kathak, focusing on basic footwork, hand movements, spins, and storytelling through dance. The workshop is open to all ages and genders! - Fee CAD 40 (at CAD 10/hour)

Fran Garton Manifestation and Sigils Workshop

1 day activity: Sunday, Feb 23 from 10am - 12pm
The Manifestation Formula is simple: INTENT + EMOTION + ENERGY. In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn to set a clear intention, focus on your emotions and cultivate energy for manifestation. We'll learn and practice 3 energy cultivation techniques that can be used not only for manifestation, but also in your daily life. Then we'll turn towards our sigils where we'll cover a brief history of sigils and their importance. You’ll learn a simple, effective way to create sigils and we’ll create a sigil as a group. If there is any remaining time, you can work on individual sigil creation or practice your manifestation techniques that you learned in the workshop.
Manifestation and Sigil WorkshopDuring this workshop, participants will create a person Sigil (symbol) to help them focus on what they would like to manifest. We will be drawing, moving and doing breathwork together. (One day activity) - Fee : $33/person.
